We were introduced by some mutual friends in 2018. We discovered that we had been working in the same place for the last 30 years but had never crossed paths. We soon realized that we were a perfect match and had a lot of the same retirement goals. Kim wanted to retire and live on her boat and David wanted to travel around the US in an RV. We got married in 2020, remodeled David’s house, sold both our houses in 2021 and moved onto Kim’s boat for a year and a half until we got the RV in 2022. Kim sadly decided it didn’t make sense to keep her boat because it would be too difficult to maintain properly while we were on the road. We are looking forward to visiting friends and family and discovering new places across the US on our RV travels.
